How do I make a Salon or Spa appointment?

You can schedule your appointment by calling #732-542-7680 (Tinton Falls) or #732-669-9880 (Woodbridge)  or use  “Make a Reservation” online form . If you are booking a Spa package for Thurs thru Sun, we recommend scheduling your appointment a week or two in advance. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday appointments are more flexible. We may even be able to book you the same day. For a single service, call anytime to check our availability.

Is deposit required when I schedule my appointment?

A 25% deposit on a credit card will secure a reservation for services/packages of 2 hours or more per person. A 50% deposit is required for any party of 5 or more. A 100% deposit is required for any service before 9 am (opening time). A 50% deposit will be required for any clients with history of minimum 1 “No Show”.

What do I do if I need to cancel my appointment?

Because your appointment is reserved especially for you, we ask that you provide a 24 hour notice for spa and salon services. If notice is not received, you will be charged 25% of the service value. If using a GIFT CARD, the 25% cancellation fee will be deducted from the value of the gift card's total. A 48 hour cancellation notice is required for two or more salon & spa services, a 72 hour cancelation notice is required for a party of 5 or more. If notice is not received, you will be charged 50% of the service value. A 100% reservation charge will be taken for any services cancelled the same day. All "no-shows" will be charged at full value.

Are gratuities included in the cost of service?

Gratuities are NOT included in the cost of our salon/spa services. Our staff always appreciates knowing that they have done well and you are pleased with your services. Our recommended standard gratuity for spa & salon services is 15-20%.

Can gratuities be added to the Credit Card during checkout?

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Gratuities can be only in cash or as a personal check. ATM machines are available for your convenience at both locations of Mosaic (Tinton Falls and Woodbridge). We will however accept gratuities on a credit card  once as a courtesy to our first time clients. 

May I schedule a standing appointment?

We highly recommend scheduling standing appointments. The receptionists at the front desk would be happy to schedule a standing appointment with the therapist/ technician of your choice. Just tell us the day and time that is best for you and whether you are requesting a weekly or monthly appointment, and we will arrange it for you.

Can I buy a Gift Card from Mosaic Wellness & Beauty?

Gift Cards are available for salon and spa services, packages and dollar amounts. You may purchase Gift Cards on our website, over the phone or at any of our 2 locations - in Tinton Falls or Woodbridge. 

What is the refund policy for Gift Cards?

Mosaic Gift Cards are NOT REFUNDABLE but it can be re-gifted to any other person - we will replace the card for the new recipient if you like, and it can be used at either location (Tinton Falls or Woodbridge) or Mosaic Gift Card amount can be used for the retail purchases at Mosaic. 

Do Mosaic Wellness & Beauty Gift Cards expire?

Mosaic Gift Cards do have an expiration date (1 year from the day of purchase).  If an expired Gift Card was purchased for a specific spa package, the package may  have a price change or even no longer be available.  However,  the Gift Card expiration date may be extended by Mosaic and can be redeemed for the original dollar amount. We cannot redeem lost or stolen Gift Cards. 

How do I prepare for spa day?

To enjoy the full value of your experience at Mosaic Wellness & Beauty, we recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This allows you time to fill out any personal history forms, enjoy complimentary sauna, refreshments or have a personal consultation prior to your service. Arriving late for your appointment may unfortunately shorten your treatment time so the next guest is not delayed. Cost of services however, will not be reduced.

Upon arrival, please present your Gift Cards or promotional Certificates (if using) before we begin services.

Remember: book your next salon/spa visit before you leave to ensure your desired date/time is available.  Please request extra time between services if desired. We will be happy to accommodate you.

Lunches are included in Full Day Packages only. If your service does not include lunch, you may request it for an additional charge. Spa Packages can be individually customized.

Bring a swimsuit when using the Spa Room. Do not shave the day of your spa services. Ensure your total results of skin or hair service by purchasing recommended products. Drink a lot of water before, between and after your spa services.

What should I wear to the spa?

Mosaic Wellness & Beauty provides robes and slippers as well as disposable bras and underwear (if needed). Our Spa therapists will never compromise your modesty and will only expose the portion of your body that is being treated at that time. Some treatments may require a bathing suit.

Can I wear jewelry to the spa?

Lockers are provided for your personal belongings, but to ensure total relaxation, we recommend leaving jewelry and valuables at home as we cannot be responsible for lost items. 

Do you have larger sized robes in the spa?

We want you to be comfortable and enjoy your spa day. We are size-friendly, with bath robes sizes up to 3XL.

May I request a male or female massage therapist?

When booking your appointment, let the receptionist know if you would prefer a male or female therapist. We would be happy to accommodate you. You may also request a therapist by name if you so desire.

Can I switch my regular technicians to try a new technician?

Mosaic Wellness & Beauty highly recommends having minimum of 2 technicians for the same service for the comfort to accommodate your personal schedule and learn more about other technicians and different techniques.  You are welcome to switch technicians at any time.

May I bring my child to the spa?

In order to maintain a relaxing, calming environment, we recommend that childcare arrangements be made for the comfort of our other clients receiving service. If arrangements cannot be made, an adult must supervise children.

I’m pregnant. Is it ok to have a massage?

It is not advisable to have a massage during the first trimester. After the first trimester, we offer Pre-natal massage and Maternal Bliss spa package designed specifically for expectant mothers. Some health concerns may require a doctor’s clearance before a service can be performed.

Should I tell anyone about any physical, medical or allergy concerns?

Upon your arrival to our Spa, you might be asked to fill out a personal health history questionnaire so that the spa therapists may provide you with the best possible experience and assure your maximum safety and comfort. Please inform us of any allergies; especially seafood allergies and notify us of any medications you may be taking, especially Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing medications. Some health concerns may require a doctor’s clearance before a service can be performed.

What is the age my child can receive spa services?

Children who are the age of 14 may receive spa services if prior arrangements are made with the front desk. A parent must be present in the room during all spa treatments. There is no age limit for hair and nail services. 

May I use my cell phone while in the spa?

Mosaic Spa is a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. Cell phones are not permitted. We encourage consideration for you and all of the other guests enjoying time for relaxation. Our lounge and spa room is a place where many guests savor a much-needed private moment to read, meditate or simply to relax. As a courtesy to other guests, please maintain a quiet level of conversation and respect the personal space of others.

I received/won a Promo Gift Card at an Event. Can I use it for any service?

Promotional/Donated/Complimentary  Mosaic Gift Cards ( usually for $15 or for a specific service) can be used 1 per person per day. They cannot be combined with other promotions or used for spa packages. Complimentary Gift Cards are intended for new clients OR for services that clients have not experienced yet at Mosaic.
